CROCKPOT RECIPES – BEEF

This is a great selection of beef crockpot recipes.

Mama Mia Meatballs Simple to make and great on pasta, meatball subs or all alone!

Meatballs: 
1-1/2 lb ground beef 
1 can evaporated milk 
1 cup quick cooking oatmeal 
1 cup onion, finely chopped 
1 egg 
1/4 teaspoon garlic powder 
1/4 teaspoon salt 
1/4 teaspoon pepper 
1 teaspoon chili powder

Sauce: 
1 cup ketchup 
3/4 cup brown sugar 
1/4 teaspoon garlic powder 
1 teaspoon liquid smoke

To make the meatballs pour the evaporated milk into a large mixing bowl. 
Add the egg, garlic powder, salt, pepper and chili powder. 
Mix until well blended.
Add the ground beef, oatmeal, and onion and work the ingredients together until they are well combined.

Next pinch off roughly two tablespoons of the mixture and roll it into a walnut sized ball. 
Place in your slow cooker. 
Repeat until all meatballs are made.

To make the sauce add all four ingredients to your mixing bowl and mix until they are well blended. 
Pour over the meatballs. 
Cover and cook on low 7 – 8 hours.

Perfect Pot Roast

MMMM, pot roast! This is why you bought a crock pot in the first place, right? This recipe comes out delicious every time.

3- to 3-1/2-pound boneless beef pot roast (rump, chuck or round) 
4 potatoes, cut into 1-inch pieces 
4 carrots, thinly sliced 
2-1/2 cups water 
1 envelope Lipton Recipe Secrets Beefy Onion Soup Mix 
2 to 4 tablespoons all-purpose flour

Arrange the vegetables in the bottom of your slow cooker.
Dredge roast in the flour and place on the vegetables.

In a small mixing bowl combine the water and soup mix. Stir. 
Pour over the roast. Cover and cook on low 8 – 9 hours.

Crockpot Meatloaf

A bit of pork sausage makes this meatloaf a truly special dish. Serve warm with vegetables or slice and refrigerate overnight for some great sandwiches.

1 pound lean ground beef 
1/4 pound pork sausage 
1/2 cup chopped onions 
1/2 cup chopped sweet peppers 
salt and pepper to taste 
1 tablespoon ground sage 
1 teaspoon garlic powder 
1 tablespoon paprika 
2 eggs 
1/4 cup milk

Combine milk and eggs in a medium mixing bowl. 
Add sage, garlic powder, paprika and salt and pepper. 
Mix well until ingredients are blended together. 
Add the remaining ingredients and work them together until they are well combined. 
Shape the whole thing into a loaf and place in the slowcooker. Cover and cook on low 4 – 5 hours.
